Last week, we set up a booth at the Phil Campbell Festival. This was our second year doing this, and we love meeting people and making new friends!

We give out small things that have Bible verses on them to serve as reminders to people of God’s unfailing love and His goodness and mercy. Last year, it was things like silicon bracelets, pens, and notebooks. This year, we had pens, notebooks, and tissue packs. It may seem so small, but God can use things like this in just the right moment to help someone! We also had silicon bracelets made that have our website on it, so if you’re here reading this because of them, hello and welcome!

It’s always a blessing to pray with people. To know that others trust us enough to join with us as we take their need to the Lord is very humbling. There is no need or concern too big or small that the Lord doesn’t see it or doesn’t care about it! He is a good Father!

As you can see in the image above, we also gave out diapers. Throughout the Bible, God used many things to reach many different kinds of people: parables, stories, loaves and fish, giant fish, oil and meal. This year, the Lord laid it on our hearts to give out diapers. We prayed over those diapers that each child and family receiving them would be blessed and healthy and reminded of God’s love for them. We have raised two children, and there were times for us where a pack of free diapers was life-changing!

Ministry can at times be complicated. However, we have found such a simplicity to ministry even during complicated moments. People just need to know God is thinking of them and that He loves them. There are many ways to communicate this, but the message never changes: God loves you even as you are and He died and rose again so that He can free you from sin and have an eternal relationship with you.

Dear reader, you don’t have to have a degree, a license, a brand, or a booth to do ministry. I want to encourage you today to reach out to those around you and remind them of His goodness! Every time we share His Gospel, seeds are planted and watered and that grows His Kingdom for His glory! You can do ministry right where you are!
